How to get there

Taking public transit:
Visitors coming from outside Taoyuan City can take the train to the Taoyuan Train Station. From there, they can take Taoyuan’s public buses to the City Hall Station (approx. travel time is 10 minutes). Then they can walk 3 to 5 minutes to Taoyuan Public Hall. The Department of Cultural Affairs’ Performance Hall, or the “Taoyuan Public Performance Hall,” is located inside the building. Visitors can also take a free shuttle on the blue line and get off at the last stop at the Taoyuan District Civil Affairs Office. From there, they can walk approximately 130 meters to the Taoyuan Public Department of Cultural Affairs inside City Hall.
Driving:
From Freeway No. 2’s Sanxia Interchange, go south on the freeway to the Airport System Interchange, get on the Airport Extension and go west. At the Ba De Interchange, exit and follow the signs for “Guishan.” Once you’re on the road (Fu De No. 1 Road), drive to the end to the T-intersection, turn left towards Taoyuan. You will be on Taoying Road. From Taoying Road, go straight for about 3 km and get on the “Taoying Lu Bridge.” Once you get off the bridge, the street name changes to “Chun Ri Road.” Continue going straight for about 500 meters, then turn left onto Zhongshan E. Road, go for about 300 meters until you cross Minsheng Road. The road name changes to Zhongshan Road. Continue going straight for 1,200 meters, turn right onto “Xian Fu Road” or County Government Road to enter the City Government park area. This becomes a one-way street. Follow it and you will see the Taoyuan Public Government’s Cultural Affairs Department.
